Sea Oil Public Company Limited and subsidiaries recognize the importance of efficient resource utilization throughout the value chain. The Company is committed to minimizing unnecessary resource consumption, enhancing the efficiency of energy, water, and material usage, and improving waste management practices while reducing environmental impacts and supporting the Company's sustainable development objectives.

The Company operates under an Environmental Management System certified to ISO 14001:2015. Appropriate targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and resource management measures are established in accordance with the operational characteristics of each business segment. Performance is regularly monitored to ensure continuous improvement.

Energy Management

The Company places strong emphasis on energy efficiency and has established energy reduction targets linked to the performance indicators of relevant departments. Energy management covers office electricity consumption, fuel consumption from company vehicles, and the promotion of responsible energy-use behavior among employees.

Key initiatives include:

  • Monitoring and analyzing energy consumption data every month.
  • Utilizing LED lighting and energy-efficient equipment.
  • Maintaining air-conditioning temperatures at appropriate levels.
  • Switching off electrical equipment when not in use.

The Company has established a medium-term target to reduce electricity consumption by at least 10% compared with the base year. To achieve this target, various energy-saving measures have been implemented, including work-from-home arrangements, switching off lights and air-conditioning systems during lunch breaks or in unused areas, conducting outdoor meetings where appropriate, unplugging electrical equipment when not in use, and maintaining air-conditioning temperatures at no lower than 25°C.

In 2025, the Company reduced electricity consumption by 9,023 kWh, representing a 16.03% reduction compared with the 2023 base year, exceeding the target set by the Company.

The Company has established electricity consumption targets for its Songkhla Office at no more than 16,000 kWh per month and 192,000 kWh per year. These targets are incorporated into the office's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to promote efficient energy use and support the Company's ongoing environmental management efforts.

In 2025, the Company reduced its electricity consumption by 69,725 kWh, representing a 27.43% reduction compared with the baseline year.

Water Management
Oil Trading Business

As water consumption at the Company's head office is included in the building management service fee, water usage data is not separately collected. Nevertheless, the Company promotes efficient water use among employees through awareness campaigns and good practices, such as avoiding unnecessary water usage, refraining from disposing of waste or paper in toilets, turning off taps while applying soap, and regularly monitoring the condition of water fixtures. Any damaged or leaking equipment is promptly reported for repair.

Catering Services Business

The Company's key water-consuming activities include facility cleaning, washing and preparing food ingredients, and cleaning containers. Therefore, the Company places importance on water management through water consumption control, water quality management, and wastewater monitoring.

The Company implements careful planning and water conservation measures to maximize water use efficiency. These measures include grouping raw materials that can be cleaned together, planning cleaning activities to reduce water consumption during washing operations, reusing water from certain processes for plant irrigation, and scheduling container cleaning activities efficiently.

The Company has established a target to maintain water consumption at no more than 10 cubic meters per month, or 120 cubic meters per year.

In 2025, water consumption increased by 15 cubic meters, representing an increase of 14.85% compared to the previous year. Nevertheless, total water consumption remained within the target established by the Company. The Company continues to implement strict water management and conservation measures to ensure the efficient use of water resources.

The Company's key water management measures and practices include the following:

  1. Regular Monitoring and Recording of Water Consumption
    The Company collects and records monthly water consumption data to monitor usage trends, assess the appropriateness of water consumption, and support the planning and implementation of future water efficiency improvement measures.
  2. Regular Inspection and Maintenance of Water Supply Systems
    The Company regularly inspects water supply systems, faucets, pipelines, and related equipment to prevent water leakage and minimize unnecessary water losses.
  3. Use of Water-Efficient Equipment
    The Company promotes the use of water-saving devices, such as water-efficient faucets and flow control devices, to improve water use efficiency.
  4. Water Conservation Awareness Campaigns
    The Company communicates and promotes water conservation practices among employees through awareness campaigns, signage at water usage points, internal communications, and educational activities related to water resource conservation.
  5. Monitoring and Performance Evaluation
    The Company collects and analyzes annual water consumption data and compares performance against previous years. The results are used to evaluate the effectiveness of existing measures and identify opportunities to further improve water management practices.

In addition, the Company places importance on maintaining the quality of tap water used in its operations. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels are regularly monitored and measured to help control water quality and prevent wastewater issues at the source. In 2025, monitoring results indicated that water quality remained within the legal standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Waste Management

The Company places importance on systematic waste management by focusing on waste reduction at source, waste segregation, reuse, recycling, and proper disposal in accordance with applicable laws and recognized waste management practices. The Company adopts the 3Rs principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and oversees waste service providers to ensure compliance with relevant standards. The Company has established a target of 100% proper waste management and seeks to continuously increase resource recovery and waste utilization.

Oil Trading Business

In its Oil Trading business, the Company's current hazardous waste consists primarily of used oil generated from operations. Recognizing the importance of proper waste disposal, the Company has engaged G.T. General Co., Ltd. to collect, transport, and dispose of used oil in compliance with applicable laws, recognized industry practices, and environmental requirements under permits issued by the Department of Industrial Works.

In 2025, a total of 510 kilograms of hazardous waste was properly managed and disposed of.

Catering Services Business

In its Catering Services and Provision Supply business, the Company generates various types of waste from operations, including general waste such as paper, cardboard, and plastic packaging materials; organic waste such as food scraps, vegetables, and fruit residues; recyclable waste such as plastic bottles; and hazardous waste including paint cans, light bulbs, forklift engine oil, and used cooking oil. The Company also manages wastewater generated from onshore operations and waste generated from offshore operations.

The Company has established organization-wide waste management procedures covering waste segregation, source control, resource utilization, and proper waste handling. These procedures are developed in consideration of legal requirements, stakeholder expectations, and relevant standards. Waste management services are provided by qualified and licensed external contractors.

The Company's waste segregation practices are as follows:

  • General Waste – Collected in blue waste bins and transferred to the municipality for disposal or landfill management. The Company monitors waste collection activities and ensures that all required municipal fees are paid.
  • Organic Waste – Collected in green waste bins with waste types clearly identified on collection bags and transferred to the municipality for disposal. Waste collection activities and municipal service fees are monitored accordingly.
  • Recyclable Waste – Collected in yellow waste bins and sold to licensed recycling companies holding valid industrial permits. The Company regularly verifies licenses and conducts site visits to recycling facilities.
  • Hazardous Waste – Collected in red waste bins and transferred to licensed waste management companies. The Company regularly reviews permits and conducts inspections of waste treatment facilities.
  • Used Cooking Oil – Sold to licensed organizations or community groups engaged in biodiesel production, or to entities that can clearly demonstrate the beneficial reuse or processing of used cooking oil without causing additional environmental impacts.

The Company has established a target to limit waste generation from operations to no more than 3,500 kilograms per month, or 42,000 kilograms per year. This target has been incorporated into the office's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support efficient resource utilization and the Company's ongoing environmental management efforts.

In 2025, the Company reduced operational waste by 11,295 kilograms compared to the previous year, achieving its waste reduction target.

Materials Management

The Company promotes efficient resource utilization and the reduction of consumable materials, particularly paper consumption, through digital transformation initiatives and the reduction of paper-based processes across the organization.

In 2025, the Company participated in the Care the Bear project organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Through the implementation of paper reduction measures for the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and related activities, the Company reduced paper consumption by 189,579 sheets, equivalent to a reduction of 2.712 tCO₂e in greenhouse gas emissions.

The Company has established a paper consumption target for its Songkhla Office of no more than 10 reams per month, or 120 reams per year. This target has been incorporated into the office's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to promote efficient resource utilization and support the Company's ongoing environmental management efforts.

In 2025, the Company reduced paper consumption by 5 reams, representing a 4.59% reduction from the established target.

Pollution Management

The Company places importance on preventing, controlling, and minimizing environmental impacts that may arise from its business operations. The Company regularly conducts environmental aspect assessments, environmental risk assessments, as well as hazard identification and risk assessments relating to safety, occupational health, and the working environment.

Although the assessments did not identify any high-significance environmental issues, the Company continues to monitor and assess workplace and surrounding environmental conditions on an ongoing basis to prevent potential impacts on employees, communities, and the environment. These activities also help ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and relevant standards. Environmental monitoring is conducted annually by qualified external specialists as follows:

  • Lighting Intensity Monitoring – Conducted annually in operational areas and workstations. In 2025, lighting intensity levels in all operational areas complied with applicable standards.
  • Noise Monitoring in Operational Areas – Conducted annually. No noise levels exceeding the applicable standards were identified during the reporting year.
  • Heat Stress Monitoring in Operational Areas – Conducted annually. No measurements exceeding the applicable standards were identified during the reporting year.
  • Total Dust Monitoring in Operational Areas – Conducted annually. No measurements exceeding the applicable standards were identified during the reporting year.
  • Total Dust Monitoring Outside the Company's Premises – Conducted annually to monitor dust generated from Company vehicle movements that may potentially affect surrounding communities. No measurements exceeding the applicable standards were identified during the reporting year.
  • Environmental Noise Monitoring Outside the Company's Premises – Conducted annually to monitor noise generated from forklifts, transportation vehicles, and container handling activities that may potentially affect surrounding communities. No measurements exceeding the applicable standards were identified during the reporting year.
  • Wastewater Quality Monitoring – Conducted annually in accordance with the Notification of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on Effluent Standards for Certain Types and Sizes of Buildings. In 2025, all wastewater quality parameters complied with the applicable regulatory standards.
Promoting a Culture of Resource Efficiency

The Company believes that the success of efficient resource management depends on the active participation of all employees. Therefore, the Company continuously promotes environmental awareness and environmentally responsible behaviors through internal communications, environmental campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives.

The Company also establishes environmental targets and integrates resource management performance into its operational management processes to encourage the responsible use of resources and strengthen a culture of resource efficiency across the organization.
